About Statilia nemoralis – Green Form

Statilia nemoralis is a slender and elegant praying mantis within the genus Statilia, distributed across South and Southeast Asia. A close relative of the well-known S. maculata, nemoralis is distinguished by its more gracile proportions and the clean, vivid green colouration of this colour form — a crisp and visually appealing variant that contrasts with the more cryptic brown forms of the species. In spread position, the green form displays particularly well, its clean colouration and slender form lending it a refined and elegant aesthetic. A neat and rewarding addition to any Statilia series or Southeast Asian Mantodea collection.

Perfect for entomologists, natural history collectors, educators, artists, interior designers seeking authentic Victorian cabinet aesthetics, and anyone passionate about the extraordinary diversity of the insect world.
