About This Specimen

Pulchriphyllium pulchrifolium is perhaps the most aptly named insect in the entire Phylliidae family — both its genus name Pulchriphyllium and species name pulchrifolium derive from the Latin for “beautiful leaf”, a doubly fitting tribute to its extraordinary appearance. This green form specimen displays the classic vivid leaf-green colouration that makes this species one of the most celebrated masters of leaf mimicry in the natural world, with its flattened body, intricate venation, and subtle colour gradation rendering it virtually indistinguishable from living foliage. This A1 specimen preserves that astonishing natural artistry in exceptional condition — a breathtaking centrepiece for any entomology collection, natural history display, or framed insect art piece.

Perfect for entomologists, natural history collectors, educators, artists, interior designers seeking authentic Victorian cabinet aesthetics, and anyone passionate about the intricate beauty of the insect world.
