Megascolia velutina velutina | A1 Spread Scoliid Wasp Specimen

A magnificent A1 spread specimen of Megascolia velutina velutina, one of the most striking members of the Scoliidae — the giant parasitic wasps. This nominate subspecies is immediately recognisable by its dense, velvety body setae (from which the species takes its name, velutina meaning velvety), bold colouration, and imposing wingspan. A showpiece specimen that commands attention whether pinned in a collection drawer or mounted behind glass.

Expertly spread and dry-preserved using professional entomological techniques, with wings fully extended and body in natural display posture. Display-ready upon arrival.
