About the Species:
Despite its name, Chrysiridia rhipheus is a day-flying moth endemic to Madagascar. Its brilliant iridescence is created by microscopic structures in the wing scales that refract light - a phenomenon that has fascinated naturalists since the Victorian era. These specimens represent sustainable farming practices that support conservation efforts in Madagascar.

Happiness guaranteed - we stand behind the quality of every specimen.
